How do I choose between building it myself and done-for-you help?

Short answer

Build it yourself when you want to understand, own and keep changing your setup. Choose done-for-you when you want the technology handled and spend your own time on clients. Two Laptops is the build-it-yourself route, live. The Turn-Key is the done-for-you route.

Two ways to build

Two Laptops: we build together, live, in the Build Week. You do the work on your own business, with structure, guidance and a deadline.

The Turn-Key: we build it for you. Site, payment and mail are set up for you.

Questions that decide it

Will you want to change your page, offer or follow-up yourself next month? Then building it yourself pays off.

Is your time better spent with clients, and do you have no interest in the setup? Then done-for-you fits.

Do you not know yet what to build? Then decide that first, whichever route you take.

Illustrative example

Illustrative, not a client case.

A trainer who tests a new workshop every quarter wants to change pages and payment links herself, so she builds it herself. A therapist with a full practice wants one stable booking setup and no tool work, so done-for-you fits her better.

Limitations

  • Done-for-you does not remove the decisions about customer, problem and offer. You still make those.
  • Building it yourself takes your time during the live sessions.
